What is this all about?

2011 was a special year – for the first time in history, the number of smartphones sold exceeded the number of PCs sold. This trend is expected to continue in the future, due to the fact that smartphone market penetration is less than 40% globally.

Modern consumers own more than one device, and mobile developers could not take advantage of that fact. It is expensive to develop for multiple platforms. Can we do anything about that?

That is how we got the idea to create a technology that will enable application development simultaneously, regardless of the device type, while keeping a unified look and feel.

On the other hand, mobile devices are becoming more powerful. Powerful enough to become the next PCs.

But, how to grow two trees from one seed?

By utilizing our revolutionary technology we have developed an application for creating and editing documents (similar to Microsoft Office), which works on smartphones, tablets, PCs, web browsers as well as cloud integration. The application is built under “one feature policy”, which means that there is no lag between the cross platform features implementation. As a comparison, even after more than 20 years on the market, the Microsoft Office versions for PC and Mac are still different in both features and user experience.

It took us only two months to fully develop the technology, and two more to create a functional prototype of PowerPoint – like application.

We have chosen the productivity software category because it is a great field for demonstrating the game changing potential of our technology, as well as the number of unresolved problems that customers are faced with.

The project was presented to representatives from the Intel Corporation during the MWC 2012 and the response was great. We have an ongoing cooperation with Sony Mobile Communications, and they have expressed interest for this project, too.

We can’t wait to demo it to the public, so stay tuned!
